BRUSSELS July 27. 2024 (Saba) - The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, on Saturday renewed his call for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a war of extermination and displacement for ten months.

This came in a post on the (X) platform, last night, coinciding with his participation in the ministerial meeting of the European Union countries and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), in the Republic of Laos.

The European official called for an immediate ceasefire and ensuring the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.. stressing the need to cooperate with the "ASEAN" countries to support the two-state solution, which would ensure lasting peace in the region.
