SANA'A July 15. 2024 (Saba) - The General Administration for Women's Development in Sana'a Governorate organized on Monday a cultural event, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein - peace be upon him, under the slogan "far from us is disgrace".
In the presence of a number of women leaders in the governorate, speeches were delivered at the event that stressed the importance of drawing lessons from the courage and sacrifice of Imam Hussein in the face of the forces of invasion and occupation.
It touched on the great status of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and the lessons he gave to the nation in sacrifice and courage.
The speeches pointed out that the aggression and oppression to which the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples are subjected today is the result of their association with the Book of Allah and the approach of the Holy Prophet and their serious orientations to liberate the nation and Islamic sanctities from dependence and occupation.
The participants stressed the importance of adhering to the Muhammadan approach, and not failing to confront the tyrants of this era.
