SANA'A July 14. 2024 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat met on Sunday with Lit. Gen. Jalal al-Ruwaishan, Chairman of the Main Committee for Preserving the Lands and Campuses of Sana'a and Taiz Airports, along with his deputy Maj. Gen. Abdulwahab al-Durra.
In the meeting, al-Ruwaishan presented a report to the President on what was accomplished during the last period by the subcommittees represented by the committees for “building the wall, receiving complaints and grievances, removing obstacles, and planning and division units.”
President al-Mashat emphasized the critical importance of safeguarding airport lands and eliminating any obstacles that might impede airport operations, aligning them with international standards, stating that it would enhance public services and benefit all citizens.
He commended the Main Committee for its effective efforts in preserving the lands and facilities of Sanaa and Taiz airports, underscoring the committee's commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities and completing its designated tasks.
The President extended his gratitude to the citizens for their cooperation with the committee, highlighting their role in preserving the lands and facilities of Sanaa and Taiz airports for the common good.
