SINGAPORE July 11. 2024 (Saba) - Gold prices rose for the third consecutive session on Thursday, as investors awaited US inflation data scheduled to be released later today, searching for more indications about the path that the Federal Reserve (the US central bank) will adopt regarding interest rates.

Gold in spot transactions rose 0.2 percent to $2,375.70 per ounce, and US gold futures rose 0.1 percent to $2,381.30.

As for other precious metals, silver rose in spot transactions 0.4 percent to $30.94 per ounce, platinum increased 0.2 percent to $991.80, and palladium gained 0.6 percent to $992.30.
