WASHINGTON July 09. 2024 (Saba) -The Hurricane Beryl on Monday slammed into southeast Texas and Louisiana combined with severe winds, leaving at least 7 people killed, highway sunk, oil terminals closed, over 1,300 flights cancelled, and more than million people in black.
Beryl hit the southern United States on Monday morning as a category one hurricane, but it has since been downgraded to a tropical depression, the National Hurricane Center said.
Beryl should be considered seriously, Huston chief said before the hurricane arrival, warning against carelessness as the "worst enemy".
