GAZA July 06. 2024 (Saba) - Five Palestinian journalists have been martyred in two Zionist raids within less than 12 hours on Nossairat camp and Gaza City.
Journalist Amjad Jahjouh, his wife, journalist Wafa Abu Dabaan, journalist designer Alaa Jahjouh (brother of Amjad), and journalist Rizq Abu Shakyan were martyred when the Zionist enemy bombed the latter’s house in Nossairat camp in the central Gaza Strip at dawn today, the Palestinian Information Center quoted local sources as saying.
The sources reported that enemy aircraft bombed Abu Shakyan's house, which was housing a group of displaced people from the family of journalist Amjad Jahjouh, and enemy forces committed a massacre in the house that led to ten martyrs.
On Friday evening, Palestinian journalists Saadi Madoukh and Ahmed Sukkar were martyred, following a Zionist raid that targeted a home for Madoukh family in Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City.
The journalists were recovered among five martyrs from the rubble of the targeted house, local sources said.
Palestinian activists published a clip showing the destruction in the Madoukh family’s home and the transport of martyrs and injured people. Palestinian websites also published - via social media platforms - a picture of the martyr journalist Saadi Madoukh carrying a camera in a street in Gaza.
With the martyrdom of the new journalists, the number of Palestinian journalists who were martyred since the start of the Zionist war on the Gaza Strip on October 7th increases to 158.
