MOSCOW July 06. 2024 (Saba) -Western politicians have made no contact with the Russian presidency on peace initiatives proposed by President Putin about Ukraine, spokesman for the Kremlin, Dmitri Pskov, said on Saturday.
Ukraine inked a deal after the Russian forces arrived at edges of Kyiv, under which Kyiv would abide by all the Russian demands in return for troop withdrawal from the capital's outskirts, President Putin previously said, noting that Moscow had never refused peace with Ukraine.
Once the Russian forces withdrew, Kyiv reneged the deal following instructions from western supporters, leading Russia to resume its military operations that will continue until all the goals are achieved, he added.
