AMRAN July 06. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Jaaman, and the First Undersecretary of the Governorate, Abdulaziz Abu Kharfasha, inaugurated on Saturday the fourth mass wedding project for 640 grooms and brides, implemented by the Zakat Office in the governorate at a cost of 256 million riyals.
At the inauguration, Governor Jaman pointed to the importance of holding and sponsoring mass weddings to immunize young people, complete half of their religion and alleviate their suffering due to the situation the country is going through. He pointed out that such projects implemented by the Zakat Authority to help young people come in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution to disburse Zakat to those who deserve it according to the eight banks and through these charitable and humanitarian projects, aimed at enhancing the spirit of solidarity and cooperation among the members of society.
He called on taxpayers, merchants and others, to pay their zakaah to the Authority as the legitimate guardian authorized to receive zakaah and disburse it to those who deserve it.
