Sana'a (Saba) – An expanded meeting at the Customs Authority, chaired by the Authority's Chairman, Engineer Adel Margham, discussed the mechanisms for implementing the joint decision of the Ministers of Finance and Economy, Industry, and Investment regarding the protection of local products and the promotion of national production by regulating the import process.
The meeting reviewed the lists of prohibited import goods and the goods whose import quantities will be restricted, their customs tariffs adjusted, and taxes collected on them in a flat rate at customs ports, this is in line with the goals of enhancing local production and reducing dependence on imports.
