SANA'A July 06. 2024 (Saba) - Caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor discussed on Saturday with the Minister of State for Parliamentary and Shura Council Affairs Dr. Ali Abu Halaiqa, a number of issues related to cooperation and integration between the government and the House of Representatives and the Shura Council.

During the meeting, Dr. Bin Habtoor received from Minister Abu Haliqa a report on the results of the sessions of the House of Representatives for the second and third parliamentary terms of the nineteenth annual session.

The report included the recommendations approved by the House of Representatives, which the government side committed to implement and provide the House of Representatives with the level of implementation, which include the sectors of transport and communications, development, oil and mineral resources, education, public health and population, trade and industry, defense and security, local authority, and finance.

The report pointed out that most ministries did not provide the Office of the Minister of State with the procedures implemented on the recommendations of the aforementioned two periods in order to be presented and included in the agenda of the House of Representatives, as they have become a government commitment before Parliament. He explained the government responses and messages that were provided to the House of Representatives regarding the recommendations issued in previous sessions.

Dr. Bin Habtoor also received from Dr. Abu Haliqa another report on aspects of partnership with the Shura Council, which included the recommendations issued by the Shura Council for the period 2021-2022, and the government measures to be taken in this regard, specifically the preparation of an action plan for implementation by various ministries and concerned authorities.
