OCCUPIED AL-QUDS July 05. 2024 (Saba) - Tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the restrictions imposed by the Zionist enemy forces on the worshipers.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Quds reported that nearly 40,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prayers in absentia for the souls of the martyrs of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The Zionist enemy forces prevented the young men from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Lions' Gate, and arrested and searched some of them.
The enemy police also prevented the presence of press crews in front of Lions Gate - one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque - before Friday prayers.
The police imposed restrictions and restrictions on the arrival of worshipers to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and set up hundreds of checkpoints in the vicinity of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
