BRUSSEELS July 4. 2024 (Saba) - The European Union condemned, on Thursday, the decision of the Zionist enemy government to build thousands of settlement units on Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank, and called on it to withdraw.

According to the Palestine Today Agency, this came in a statement issued by the EU's foreign policy official, Josep Borrell, the day after the Zionist enemy authorities announced their decision to build thousands of new illegal settlements in the West Bank.

Borrell stated: The European Union also strongly condemns the expropriation policies pursued by the Zionist enemy government in the occupied West Bank.

He stressed that "the ongoing measures aimed at establishing facts on the ground, which may lead to the actual annexation of the West Bank, must be stopped."

The European official stated that these actions constitute a serious violation of international law, calling on the Zionist enemy authorities to abandon them.
