GAZA July 01.2024 (SABA) - The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), confirmed on Sunday that its mujahideen managed to snipe a Zionist soldier in the ongoing battles in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

According to the agency (Palestine Today), the "Jerusalem Brigades" said in a brief statement, that it is engaged in fierce clashes with enemy soldiers with machine guns and anti-personnel in Ikhlil Street in the Central area, east of the Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City.

It confirmed that its mujahideen managed to snipe a Zionist soldier in the ongoing battles in the neighborhood of Shujaiya, east of Gaza City.

It added that it bombarded with a barrage of regular mortar shells the enemy masses in the axis of progress in the neighborhood of Shujaiya east of Gaza.

In this context, the Zionist enemy army admitted that 33 soldiers were wounded over the weekend, 22 of them wounded in the battles of Gaza.

The Palestinian resistance continues to confront the Zionist enemy forces in different areas of the Gaza Strip for the 286th consecutive day.
