GAZA July 01. 2024 (Saba) - Al-Qassam Brigades have struck multiple Occupation tanks and armored vehicles along with a fortified unit holed up in a residential building, as part of their defensive operations against enemy incursions into Gaza.
Al-Qassam Brigades announced in a military statement Monday that upon their return from the frontlines, their fighters reported detonating a Merkava 4 tank with improvised explosive devices south of Aviation Street in Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah city.
Footage released by the brigades showed their successful interception of invading Israeli vehicles in al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City.
Furthermore, Al-Qassam fighters managed to target an entrenched Israeli unit inside a residence in the neighborhood, east of Gaza City, using a TBG shell, resulting in casualties among the enemy forces.
Additionally, they successfully sniped an Israeli soldier inside another residence in al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Al-Qassam Brigades also took out two Israeli Merkava 4 tanks using explosive charges in al-Shuja'iyya, east of Gaza City.
Moreover, they lured an Israeli unit into a booby-trapped house, used in their latest sniper operation east of Rafah city. Upon entry, the house was detonated, causing casualties among the soldiers.
These developments underscore the escalating tensions and the intense military engagements between Hamas and Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
