GAZA July 01. 2024 (Saba) - Al-Qassam Battalions, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, on Sunday broadcast scenes of the manufacture of guerrilla action bombs.
According to the Palestine Online website, the video clips showed an Al-Qassam fighter preparing dozens of explosive devices, with "Guerilla Action Device" written on them, and a number of them were placed in black bags.
Al-Qassam Battalions commented at the end of the video clip with two words: "Our preparations continue."
The guerrilla action device is a name given by Al-Qassam Battalions to a homemade anti-tank grenade.
The Battalions confirmed that they manufactured and designed the devices by themselves in Gaza.
The device was used for the first time during Al-Aqsa Storm to give Qassam fighters the ability to maneuver in the face of highly-armored Zionist vehicle.
Its mechanism of action is similar to the sticky bombs used by infantry soldiers during their attacks on tanks at close range in World War II.
