SANA'A June 27. 2024 (Saba) -The Office of Industry and Trade in the Capital Secretariat detected 233 price and ration violations during Eid al-Adha holiday.
The Director of the Industry Office in the Capital Secretariat, Majed Al-Sada, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the oversight committees affiliated with the office and its branches in the directorates targeted two thousand and 520 commercial establishments in various directorates during the period from 9 to 17 Dhu al-Hijjah.
He stressed that the inspection committees and teams are continuing their field campaigns to go to markets and shops in all the secretariat’s directorates to monitor prices, food , consumer goods and control violations, especially during Eid days.
Al-Sada stressed strengthening the procedures for monitoring , inspecting markets , shops, controlling price , supply violations, and not being complacent in taking the necessary measures against violators , manipulators and arresting them.
