HAJJAH June 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Women's Cultural Authority in Hajjah province has organized cultural events in a number of districts on the anniversary of Imam Ali's al-Welaya day, peace be upon him, and stood in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Participants in the events in the districts of Aflah al-Sham, Qara, Mustaba, Kahlan al-Sharaf, Sha`b Ali in al-Muftah, and other districts chanted slogans affirming the supremacy of God Almighty, the Noble Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and raised slogans of disavowal of the enemies of Islam, America and Israel.
The events’ speeches indicated that celebrating this occasion is a message to the world of the extent of the Yemenis’ love and attachment to Imam Ali and an emphasis on following his approach and emulating his biography, virtues, personality, asceticism, courage, sacrifice, and piety.
They stressed the importance of commemorating the occasion to consolidate the connection with Imam Ali, instill the values of guardianship among society, and consolidate the identity of faith and Quranic culture, reviewing the biography of the Imam of the pious, his jihadist stances, his heroism, and his courage, peace be upon him, in confronting the Jews, Christians, and oppressors, and championing truth and religion.
