IBB June 26. 2024 (Saba) - A free medical camp for eye diseases, cataract removal, and lens installation was inaugurated at the Martyr Ali Abdul-Mughni Hospital in al-Saddah district of province in coordination with the local council and the health office.
The three-day camp, funded by businessman Muwafaq Wajih al-Din, aims to examine 1,500 patients, perform operations on 150 cataract cases, and remove conjunctival pterygium and fatty cysts from the eyelids, to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of the repercussions of the aggression and siege.
During the inauguration, district director Mohammed al-Darwani noted the importance of free medical camps in helping those in need, especially in remote areas, and alleviating the suffering of patients from traveling to the governorate center or the capital to receive treatment.
Al-Darwani stressed the support of the local authority in the district for all medical activities and camps.
