Al-Rishq denies allegations over Hamas planning to leave Qatar

DOHA June 25. 2024 (Saba) - Member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Izzat al-Rishq, denied allegations about Hamas planning to leave Qatar and head to Iraq.

The Palestinian Information Center quoted al-Rishq in a brief statement last night as saying “There is no basis in truth to the allegations reported by Sky News Arabia, quoting The National newspaper, that Hamas is planning to leave Qatar and head to Iraq.”

Al-Rishq's statements came after a report published by the newspaper regarding allegations of the Hamas leaders' intention to leave Doha and settle in Baghdad under the protection of Iran.

Qatar has previously denied allegations of pressure being exerted on Hamas to force it into a partial deal that does not include an end to the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Zionist media incited against Qatar and demanded that it put pressure on Hamas, but Doha affirmed its rejection of incitement and repeatedly condemned the Zionist enemy’s refusal to stop the war of extermination.
