DOHA June 25. 2024 (Saba) - Dr. Mohammad Hindi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, affirmed that Netanyahu's stance indicates his desire to prolong the conflict and aggression.
Speaking on al Jazeera, Hindi stated that reaching a prisoner exchange deal requires a cessation of aggression and a complete withdrawal.
He further explained that Netanyahu refuses to stop the war for political and ideological reasons, suggesting that pressure can be applied, especially on the ground.
Hindi predicted that the Zionist entity is collapsing and that Netanyahu will be compelled to cease hostilities due to battlefield realities.
He added that the occupation will continue to be drained and that escalating to a third stage will not resolve any problems.
He stressed that what is decided in the field will be reflected in negotiations and politics, stressing that the resistance is fine and its operations are continuing, and the statements of the occupation leaders about eliminating it are empty words.
Dr. Hindi concluded, "We remain committed to negotiations and have not closed the door. Netanyahu's illusion of achieving a victory is the only obstacle."
