The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has revealed that the Knesset session turned into what it described as a "screaming match" between the Prime Minister of the Zionist entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the Leader of the Opposition, Yair Lapid.
The newspaper reported that the opposition to the enemy entity has began a discussion with 40 signatures in the Knesset on an issue that it defined as “the failure of the government.”
It is noteworthy that the enemy's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the opposition leader, Yair Lapid, must participate in discussions of this kind, as they met in what turned into a "real shouting match," according to what the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed.
The newspaper reported the atmosphere of the session from inside the Knesset, where at first the members of the opposition and the coalition spoke one after the other, and after that Netanyahu rose to speak, reviewed the state of war and attacked “those who are trying to weaken morale,” and said: “They repeat in every possible way that the army The occupation cannot win. They insult and normalize violence. It is just a vocal minority.”
The newspaper continued: Knesset members, Yochai Lahav and Mickey Levy, from the “There is a Future” party, turned their backs on Netanyahu during his speech, and Knesset member, Sharan Hashel, shouted at him, saying: “You are not allowing the Israeli army to win.”
After that, Lapid rose to deliver a speech, and attacked Netanyahu, saying: “You did not realize that there will be nothing left of you. There will be no museum in your name. There will be no square, bridge or airport. There will only be one thing - October 7th, and it will be held.” your name".
Lapid added: "All of Netanyahu's attempts to shift responsibility for the failure of October 7th to those affiliated with him and all the slanders regarding the Zionist forces and the Shin Bet will be of no use."
Yedioth Ahronoth continued: Netanyahu returned again to the Knesset podium for a “real shouting match between the two,” and attacked Lapid, saying: “You surrendered to Hezbollah with a disgraceful surrender agreement,” in reference to the maritime border demarcation agreement.
Lapid took the stage again, according to the newspaper, to respond to Netanyahu by saying: “You lie as much as you breathe,” and he touched on the issue of submarines, accusing Netanyahu of approving submarines for Egypt behind the backs of the “Zionist Army” and the Ministry of Defense?
In response to Netanyahu’s words regarding Lapid’s surrender to Hezbollah, the opposition leader said: “What killed the Zionist deterrence is that Hezbollah set up a tent and you remained silent and did nothing against it.”
Due to internal disputes, and with the war on Gaza continuing without achieving its goals for about nine months, Netanyahu dissolved the war “cabinet” last week after the resignation of members Benny Gantz (one of the opposition leaders) and Gadi Eisenkot.
