SANA'A June 20. 2024 (Saba) - The Minister of Electricity and Energy in the caretaker government, Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, directed today, Thursday, to increase the amount of electrical energy subsidized for citizens in Hodeidah Province.

Minister Al-Bukhaiti explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the directives stipulated increasing the quantity from (200 kWh) to 300 kWh during June, July, and August of the current year.

He pointed out that these measures come in implementation of the directives of the Revolution Leader and the Head of the Supreme Political Council, to alleviate the suffering of citizens in Hodeida and its districts during the summer period.
