NEW YORK June 17. 2024 (Saba) - Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya , confirmed that Russia is convinced that Palestine's full membership in the United Nations will help launch equal negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
Sputnik quoted Nebenzya as saying in statements: “We are convinced that Palestine’s membership in the United Nations will help launch a process of equal negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis, on a group of final status issues, the result of which will be the establishment of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with its capital” East Al-Quds.
The Zionist enemy forces have continued their aggression against Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 37,337 Palestinian citizens and the injury of 85,299 others, an infinite toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble, in light of great scarcity. In food, water, medicine, fuel, a decrease in the number of operating hospitals and medical centers that provide services to Palestinians in the Strip.
