OCCUPIED QUDS June 08. 2024 (Saba) - On Saturday, the Zionist enemy authorities forced a Palestinian to demolish his residential building, in the town of Jabal Mukaber, south of occupied Quds.
The Palestinian news agency "WAFA" quoted the owner of the building, Atta Shqirat, as saying that the enemy forced him this morning to demolish his six-story building, with an area of more than 580 square meters, to avoid paying exorbitant sums of money to the municipality of the Zionist enemy.
He added that attempts to gain a license during the past years did not help him, after the issuance of a decision to demolish it by the occupation municipality in 2007.
"50 people were living in this building," he said, but "we had to demolish it, to avoid the destruction the enemy bulldozers would cause to neighboring houses."
