MOSCOW June 8. 2024 (Saba) - Washington can never shirk its responsibility to allow Ukraine to target Russian territory with US weapons, spokeswoman for Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
Previously, the United States allowed Ukrainian forces to launch strikes against Russian territory near the border of the Kharkov province, Maria Zakharova added at a press conference on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024.
Commenting on the decision, Zakharova said: "They will not be able to evade responsibility."
In the same context, Zakharova wrote on Telegram: "On May 31, Washington, like a number of European countries, officially gave the "green light" to the Kiev regime to use supplied weapons to strike Russian territory adjacent to the Kharkov region."
