OCCUPIED AL-QUDS May 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), yesterday broadcast a video for an Israeli prisoner, detained in the Gaza Strip, addressing Israeli demonstrators in the occupied territories.
The prisoner, whose name was mentioned as Alexander Turbanov, said in a clip titled "The Israeli government does not want to pay the price," "To the citizens of Israel and the demonstrators."
"In the coming days, you'll hear from me the truth about what happened to me and to dozens of prisoners in Gaza," he said.
Turbanov concluded his brief message by saying: "I ask you to wait with more patience."
Al-Quds Brigades had previously broadcast videos of Zionist prisoners, but the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Battalions, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, were the most in this regard.
This message comes in light of escalation by the movement of the families of Zionist prisoners and their supporters to force Netanyahu government to reach an immediate deal for the exchange of prisoners, as his government is increasingly criticized for making the Zionist enemy forces kill a number of detainees.
