OCCUPIED AL-QUDS May 26. 2024 (Saba) - The former prime minister of the Zionist enemy entity, Ehud Olmert, called for stopping the military operation in Rafah and ending the war on Gaza, which he described as faltering after about eight months. He pointed out that these two steps are for the return of prisoners.
In an interview with the Zionist radio station Makan, Olmert said that the war does not serve the interests of Israel, but rather the interests of its current prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and some of its members.
Olmert called on ministers Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot to resign from the government. He stressed that "there is no chance of victory or the final destruction of Hamas."
He added: The claim of "victory" is baseless, and this is Netanyahu's slogan so that he can justify, within the framework of continuous attempts, to create a distance between the events of the seventh of October, and the stage in which the war will end, for personal or political reasons, and has nothing to do with Israel.
"If we want to return the prisoners safely, we have to stop the war now," Olmert said.
