SANA'A May 19. 2024 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed that the Yemeni leadership and people stand by the Iranian people and their leadership in the difficult circumstances they are experiencing.

His Excellency the President said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "We are following with great concern the incident that struck the plane carrying His Excellency President Ibrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and a number of Iranian officials."

He prayed to God Almighty to return Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his companions safely , to prevent the Iranian people and their leadership from seeing any harm.
