SANA'A May 18. 2024 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today, Saturday, in the capital, Sana'a, with the Prime Minister of the caretaker government, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor.
During the meeting, they discussed equipment and preparations for celebrating the National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.
President Al-Mashat directed the celebration of the blessed National Day, stressing that unity is the unity of the people, its true maker and owner.
He stressed that Yemeni unity and all the just issues of the people in the north, south, east and west of the country will remain, noting that the people, with all their free and independent forces, is their only vessel and faithful representative.
President Al-Mashat pointed out that all the abuses and deviations that destroyed all the achievements and capabilities of the people are a natural result of outside arbitration and dependence on it instead of the people’s arbitration and siding with it.
