SANA'A May 12. 2024 (Saba) - The first training workshop on results-based management within the framework of the national vision, organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, in cooperation with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), began in Sana'a on Sunday.
At the opening of the workshop, Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs Mahmoud Al-Junaid considered the workshop one of the most important rehabilitation and training programs for state employees in the authorities concerned with social development.
He stressed the importance of developing management based on scientific foundations to overcome the prevailing randomness and consolidate institutional work and the culture of planning, follow-up and evaluation, in a way that contributes to the process of construction and development at various levels.
Al-Junaid pointed to the need to harmonize the requirements of the institutional and structural reform process, work automation, capacity building, workforce planning and improving the human resources situation, within the plans of the national vision.
He pointed to the work carried out within the framework of the national vision, within the previous phase implemented by the office for the vision with all public service units, after analyzing the current situation, at various levels and coming up with a phased plan within the framework of national targets.
The Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs praised the efforts made by UNICEF as a key partner with government institutions in the fields of development, expressing the hope that the outputs of the workshop will support social development efforts.
He stressed the importance of supporting the National Program for Productive Families with all their needs to achieve its objectives in contributing to development and supporting the national economy.
