MARIB May 11. 2024 (Saba) - The Subcommittee for Summer Courses in Majzar District organized a recreational trip for students of Malik Al-Ashtar Model School to the historical city of Baraqish.
During the trip, the students learned about historical monuments, artifacts, inscriptions, and archaeological columns, which embody the civilization of Yemen, which has its roots throughout history.
The trip included swimming in the valleys, sports games, and enshad and creative participation.
During the visit, the Director of the Directorate of Massar, Mohsen Ghafaina, confirmed that the trip comes within the activities and programs of the summer courses, which this year are witnessing great distinction and unprecedented interaction.
In turn, the Deputy Director of the Governorate’s Education Office, Noman Alwan, and the Public Mobilization Officer in the Northern Square, Moti’ Al-Faqih, pointed out the importance of summer activities, which include visits to historical monuments, competitions, and various skills to introduce generations to their history, and develop their skills and creative abilities.
