MARIB May 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Marib, Ali Taaiman, announced the unilateral opening of Al-Bayda - Al-Juba - Marib city road and the completion of the necessary arrangements.
This came during the visit of Governor Taaiman, accompanied by the province’s mobilization official, Brigadier General Ali Al-Hamzi, a number of sheikhs and notables of Murad tribe, to Al-Falaj point at the southern entrance to Marib city.
Governor Taaiman explained that the opening of Al-Juba - Al-Bayda - Marib city road comes based on the directives of the Revolution Leader and the Head of the Supreme Political Council to alleviate the suffering of travelers and residents of the southern districts.
Marib Governor indicated that the announcement of opening the road comes as an additional step in addition to the initiative to open the Sana'a-Serwah-Al-Bayda road, which was announced previously. He pointed out that the intransigence of the forces of aggression and their rejection of all initiatives regarding roads is what delays the opening of roads and ending the suffering of citizens.
He stressed that the leadership of the revolution and the Supreme Political Council presented initiatives to open roads and normalize the situation in the province, but those initiatives were rejected by the aggression coalition and its mercenaries.
Governor Taaiman pointed out that the forces of aggression make statements for media consumption and do not have the independent decision to open roads, but rather receive their directives from the Saudi ambassador.
