SANA'A May 07. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting held on Tuesday, which included the Mayor of the capital, Dr. Hamoud Obbad, and the advisor to the President of the Supreme Political Council, Ambassador Abdulelah Hajar, discussed preparations for holding the "Made in Happy Yemen" exhibition at the capital Sana'a.
The meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee of the Local Council, Hammoud Al-Naqib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Fisheries Mustafa Hataba, the directors of civil society organizations at the Office of the President of the Republic Fouad Al-Hardi, the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit at the Municipality, Eng. Abdul Malik Al-Ansi, and the head of the Food and Household Traders Syndicate, Hussein Abu Hadi, reviewed the importance of the exhibition, which will serve as a festival and celebration of various national products.
He touched on the mechanism of preparations and coordination with all concerned authorities and holding meetings to form the preparatory committee for the exhibition, which aims to market and professionally promote national agricultural and industrial products locally, regionally and globally.
He also reviewed the ongoing preparations for the first national festival of mangoes, next Sunday in Al Sabeen Park, within the framework of interest in agricultural products, and an overview of the wholesalers' city project and its economic objectives aimed at supporting agricultural products and adopting the localization of industrial products.
