Sana'a - Saba:
The Executive Committee for Summer Courses in Bani al-Harith and al-Thawra districts of the capital Sana'a on Monday inaugurated the competitions for the Fourth Summer Forum for the Gifted and Creative in Summer Schools.
Over four days, students from summer schools in these districts will compete in various fields, including Quran memorization and recitation, innovation, public speaking, poetry, chanting, storytelling, drawing, sculptures, theater, and folklore.
Members of the Yemeni Scholars Association and the Director of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority branch listened to creative examples from the students, highlighting the benefits of the summer programs.
Speakers emphasized the importance of these courses in building a Quranic generation with a strong faith identity, knowledge, and awareness to counter "soft warfare" and harmful ideas targeting youth.
The forum was also noted for its role in discovering talent and creativity, with calls for relevant authorities to support the enrolled students.
Officials and educational leaders from both districts attended the inauguration, praising the efforts of the forum's committees and organizers.
