MOSCOW May 03. 2024 (Saba) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced that Ukrainian forces were losing about a thousand soldiers every day during the month of April, in addition to dozens of aircraft and drone boats, as a result of ongoing military operations.
Shoigu said, during a video meeting with Russian army commanders, that Ukrainian forces lost more than 111,000 soldiers in 2024, as well as 21,000 pieces of weapons and military equipment.
He pointed out that the Russian army extended its control over 547 square kilometers of land during the past two weeks, and a number of towns were liberated, including “Novobakhmutovka, Semenovka, and Berdychi.”
