OCCUPIED AL-QUDS April 22. 2024 (Saba) - On Monday, the Zionist enemy army announced the resignation of the head of the Military Intelligence Division after acknowledging his “responsibility” for the failures of last October 7.
The enemy army said in a statement: “General Aharon Haliva requested to step down from his position in coordination with the Chief of Staff due to his leadership responsibility as head of the Intelligence Division for the events of October 7.”
He will now be retired “as soon as his successor is appointed in an organized and professional process,” according to the statement.
The Zionist enemy media indicated that “the resignation will not be immediate, but it is expected to happen after several weeks.”
He explained that during this period he will be asked to choose a successor to him, and also to complete other investigations into Aman, which Haliva will present to the Chief of Staff before his resignation.
The head of the Research Brigade in the Zionist Military Intelligence Division "Aman", Amit Sa'ar, announced a few days ago, immediately, his resignation from his position, after bearing full responsibility for the intelligence failure on October 7th.
