NEW YORK Apr 18. 2024 (Saba) -The Israeli army is responsible for the settlers' growing violence in the West Bank, pushing whole Palestinian communities to displacement, the Human Rights Watch (HRW) said on Thursday.

Settlers violence led to the displacement of people from 20 communities, and eliminated at least 7 residential communities since 7 October 2023, the agency added in a report.

The Israeli army took part in settlers' violent attacks in the West Bank, or did not provide the Palestinians with protection from such attacks, according to the report.

The settlers committed violations against Palestinians and threatened to kill them unless they leave permanently, the HRW said.
