OCCUPIED QUDS May 01. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces demolished two houses for citizens in Maghar city in the Galilee region in Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, and launched demolition operations in Jabal Mukaber in occupied Al-Quds, and in Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted local sources as saying: Reinforced forces from the Zionist enemy stormed the town of Maghar, and provided protection for the vehicles and bulldozers of the occupation authorities during the demolition of two houses owned by residents of the town.
It pointed out that for the first time, the occupation authorities carried out the actual demolition of Al-Maghar, next to which they established a settlement town called “Tafhot” for Haredis.
The center quoted Deeb Tawafra, after the demolition of his house, as saying: He had not received any demolition order in the previous period, and maps were submitted to approve the construction and to issue building permits.
In turn, the mayor of Maghar, Thaer Qazal, said: “We are talking about two houses in the town near Tafahut settlement. We in the municipality have not received any notification from the competent authorities regarding the demolition.”
Qazal added: The talk is about old demolition orders that were issued about a year ago. They were surprised at dawn today by large police forces estimated at three thousand soldiers. They completely closed off the area and prevented any citizen from approaching the area and carried out the demolition.
