MOSCOW April 15. 2024 (Saba) - Russian air defenses shot down 270 drones and destroyed many military equipment of Ukrainian forces in the past 24 hours.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said today in its daily report on the progress of the special military operation on the main axes of combat in Donbass: The losses of Ukrainian forces amounted to up to 30 soldiers, two military vehicles, three American-made field guns, two electronic warfare stations of the type Plastone and Inklav on the axis of Kobyansk.
On the Donetsk axis, Ukrainian forces lost up to 420 soldiers, tanks, ten military vehicles, two artillery platforms, and a British-made field gun.
On the Avdiivka axis, seven counterattacks were thwarted, during which Ukrainian forces lost about 295 soldiers, a tank and four armored combat vehicles, including a German-made Marder infantry fighting vehicle and four military vehicles, in addition to two US-made field guns, two Akatsia and Gvozdika artillery platforms, three field guns and a Hammar electronic warfare station.
On the southern Donetsk axis, Ukrainian forces suffered 90 troops, three military vehicles and two field gunners, one American and the other British-made, whose losses on the Kherson axis reached 60 soldiers, two military vehicles and a British cannon.
Russian airstrikes, rocket and artillery forces destroyed the command and reconnaissance center and positions of Ukrainian forces and equipment in 110 regions, while Russian air defense systems shot down 270 Ukrainian drones and intercepted six Himars rocket launchers.
