SANA'A April 29. 2024 (Saba) -The cleaning project in the capital secretariat on Monday received 50 large barrels for waste collection at a cost of 50,500 dollars, provided by the Ministry of Finance as support for the cleaning project.

During the delivery, the Director of Operations at the Ministry of Finance, Fathi Al-Samawi, explained that providing these barrels comes within the support directed to the cleaning project in accordance with the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Caretaker Government for Economic Affairs to advance cleaning efforts.

He pointed out that a batch of light vehicles dedicated to transporting and removing waste from narrow places and streets will be delivered in the coming days as part of the aforementioned support from the Ministry of Finance.

While the Executive Director of the Sanitation Fund in the Capital Secretariat, Muhammad Sharaf Al-Din, and the Director of the Sanitation Project, Ibrahim al-Sarabi, appreciated the interest of the political leadership and the leadership of the Ministry of Finance in improving cleaning work and highlighting the aesthetic and cultural appearance of the capital.

They pointed out that these barrels will be distributed to markets and places designated for waste collection in a number of streets and alleys, to ensure easy removal of waste.
