MOSCOW April 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday that its armed forces took control of the town of Semenovka in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
The ministry said in a statement that units of Russian forces took control of the town of Semenovka, and defeated formations of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Novalaleksandrovka, Arkhangelskoye, Tarasovka and Zavitnoye regions of Donetsk.
It explained that 10 counterattacks of offensive groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled in the Lenenskoye, Novgorodskoye, Oscheritino, Semenovka, Novoakhmutovka, Netailov, Novocalinovo and Berdychi regions of Donetsk, noting that in these attacks the Ukrainian armed forces lost 370 military personnel, two armored personnel carriers and four cars.
The ministry also noted, on the other hand, that Russian air defense systems shot down 22 Ukrainian drones, a missile and a guided air bomb.
