Govt Office in Gaza: More than hundred scientists, academics martyred in Zionist aggression on Gaza

GAZA May 16. 2024 (Saba) - The Government Media Office in Gaza published on Thuresday a list of names of more than 100 scientists, academics, university professors, and researchers who were martyred during the genocidal war waged by the Zionist enemy army against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza government office stated that the enemy army managed to kill and assassinate more than 100 scientists, academics, university professors, and researchers during the ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip for the eighth consecutive month, in a clear message aimed at eliminating scientists and researchers in the educational sector completely.

This comes alongside the occupation's destruction of more than 103 universities and schools entirely, in addition to partially destroying 311 universities and schools.

The government office expressed its strongest condemnation of the enemy's assassination of scientists, academics, university professors, and researchers, who are a distinguished category in Palestinian society in the Gaza Strip. It calls on all universities and educational sectors in all countries of the world to condemn this crime, which is part of the genocide.

The Gaza government holds the enemy and the American administration fully responsible for this historical crime, as the occupation kills and assassinates scientists, and the American administration is involved in the genocide, and they have contributed to the continuation of this war, which has claimed the lives of more than 120,000 victims, including martyrs, wounded, missing, and detainees.

The government office called on free world countries and all organizations related to education and higher education in the world.
