NEW YORK April 03. 2024 (Saba) - Iran's representation to the United Nations in New York has called on the Security Council to ratify a resolution under Chapter Seven to curb the Zionist enemy, which endangers peace and international laws.
According to Tasnim International News Agency, the Iranian delegation to the United Nations in New York, following the Security Council meeting regarding the Zionist aggression against the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, called for the ratification of a resolution under Chapter VII in the United Nations Security Council to curb the Zionist entity.
The Iranian representation wrote in its account on X platform as saying How can the world stop this rebellious entity that openly ignores the Security Council’s ceasefire resolution and international laws?
It added ratifying a resolution under Chapter Seven is necessary to curb the Zionist entity, which endangers peace and international laws.
The UN Security Council held an urgent session last night, at the request of Russia, to discuss the Zionist aggression against the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The Security Council session witnessed international condemnations of the Zionist aggression against the Iranian consulate in Syria, and positions converged on denouncing the targeting of diplomatic missions as a provocation and a dangerous escalation.
