ASTANA March 04. 2024 (Saba) - Today's earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale struck the city of Almaty, southeast of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies said in a statement today that the earthquake occurred this morning and its epicenter is 31 kilometers south of the city of Almaty, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Sirens sounded in the city immediately after the tremor was recorded, as residents rushed to the streets.
