GAZA February 21. 2024 (Saba) - The Reporter of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) in Gaza, Nidal Abu Mustafa, reported the Zionist enemy lamenting the death and injury of dozens of its soldiers due to fungal viruses and dangerous and deadly diseases.
In the last few hours, the Zionist enemy’s media lamenting the death of two occupation soldiers and the injury of about 30 others, who are in a state of extreme danger due to their infection with a fungal virus that transmitted to them from the territory of the Gaza Strip,Abu Mustafa said in an exclusive interview.
He explained that this virus is deadly, as described by “the Zionist enemy’s media,” and that Zionist doctors and laboratories in the enemy entity find it difficult to provide appropriate treatment for this virus.
He pointed out that this comes at a time when the entire world ignores the presence of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip, who face very serious and deadly diseases in a real and very frightening way in the Gaza Strip.
Abu Mustafa confirmed that diseases are frighteningly widespread in the Gaza Strip for several reasons:
The first of these reasons is that the Zionist enemy army dropped about 66 thousand tons of toxic and dangerous explosives on the Gaza Strip, according to official statistics from the Government Information Office in Gaza.
He stated that the Zionist enemy dropped 66 thousand tons of toxic and dangerous explosives on agricultural lands, housing, and populated areas, and this had a very significant impact on the health of the Palestinian citizens.
In addition to that, one of the reasons that led to the spread of diseases is the accumulation of waste in an extensive manner because the enemy bombed most of the municipalities operating in the Gaza Strip and destroyed most of the mechanisms that transport waste, so the waste remained piled up very large.
He continued, saying: Among the reasons also is the scarcity of food and malnutrition, especially in the northern regions of the Gaza Strip, and the lack of healthy food.
He pointed out that one of the main reasons for the spread of these dangerous viruses and diseases is the serious contamination of drinking water in the Gaza Strip due to the Zionist enemy’s bombing of desalination and water filtration centers in the Strip.
The Saba correspondent stated that among the reasons is the lack of medicines in the Gaza Strip, there are no suitable medicines for these widespread diseases, which greatly facilitates their spread because most of these diseases are contagious and spread very quickly among citizens.
He added: that another reason is that the Zionist enemy killed a large number of doctors specializing in such diseases, especially skin, intestinal and pulmonary infections, breathing problems, and the like.
He stressed that the deliberate killing of some specialized doctors contributed to accelerating the spread of diseases in the Gaza Strip.
According to official statistics from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, about 700,000 citizens in the Strip are infected or are among those infected with infectious diseases, this is a very large statistic, and represents a third of the population in the Gaza Strip, according to Abu Mustafa.
The correspondent of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) stressed that the matter is very dangerous and could lead to very catastrophic results, especially since sick people see it on the streets, and sometimes some people die due to these diseases, and no one in this world pays attention to this.
