SANA'A January 28. 2024 (Saba) - Yemen, with its exceptional position in accompanying operations to support the Palestinian people, broke the barrier of fear and dread of confronting American influence and rejected its interventions based on perpetuating conflict in countries of the region that suffer from the regimes’ dependency on American policy and being drawn into implementing the agendas dictated to them.
Yemen's honorable position on the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which none of the rulers, princes, leaders and presidents of Arab countries who were lying in the sands of shame, normalization and humiliation, dared to do, restored to the Arab peoples yearning for freedom and glory the hope of escaping from the barracks of guardianship and defeat.
At a time when the Arab region was plagued by submissive regimes and leaders united by obedience to the Jews and the Americans, and united by the policy of Zionism and fear of the American bogeyman, the right position on Yemen of faith and wisdom emerged after a long history of terrible silence and submission of a nation that God honored with Islam, so its rulers refused to take pride in others and go towards allegiance to the Jews and Christians.
Yemen's position emerged in which victory was not conditional on parity in numbers and equipment, in a very different battle, the standards of which were divine and whose foundation was strong faith, reliance on the presence of God, the right position, and the support of the oppressed among the Palestinian people, even with the minimum of capabilities, in a battle that was not weighed by missiles and destroyers and was not measured by the size of budgets and preparing armies.
Without ambiguity or fear of the West's standards about what is acceptable and unacceptable in relation to America's interests, the Yemeni position exploded a time bomb by saying no to American interventions, and proceeding with courageous and strong action at its disposal to support the oppressed Palestinian people who have been subjected to a war of genocide, torture, killing, displacement and forced displacement since the seventh of last October.
For the first time in the history of the countries of the region, an Arab country moves and announces its practical position on the banks of the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden, not caring about the threat of the American fleets, whose administration used to bring down kings and leaders and replace regimes with others, so the equation changes and America finds its fleets forced to engage and then retreat under Yemeni missile fire.
Despite the American administration's blunder and the escalation it intended to undertake in the Red Sea, the declaration of aggression, the launching of raids and bombardments on the Yemeni governorates, and the formation of an international coalition to protect Israeli ships, the Yemeni armed forces that took their position were able to impose the rules of confrontation and confront the American enemy with unparalleled violence.
In the latest operation in Yemen's escalating and declared position of preventing the passage of the Zionist entity's ships heading to its ports, the US Navy failed in all its might to protect its ships and enable them to pass through the Yemeni strait in the face of the strength of the Yemeni force that was able to impose rules of engagement in the Yemeni seas hundreds of miles away from its land positions and its sea points.
The operation was met with widespread satisfaction at the regional and international levels, and communication platforms turned into reactions expressing pride and support for Yemen, as observers and international relations experts commented by saying, “America’s insistence on expanding the conflict and attacking Yemen directly will turn its battleships and naval fleets into a burning fire with naval Yemeni missiles.”
The reactions on a large scale, going beyond the local level, expressed pride in the qualitative heroic operations carried out by the Yemeni forces in confronting and responding to the US-UK aggression, and the continuation of the Yemeni operations of pride and victory from its main sea ports to support Palestine, and confusing the calculations of the Biden administration, which insists on its blatant interference.
Arab media outlets and channel correspondents described the clash between Yemeni forces and American forces in the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab as representing a qualitative development since the Israeli occupation army launched its criminal aggression against the Gaza Strip.
It considered the clash and targeting of American ships and destroyers in Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden to place us in front of the most prominent and dangerous qualitative development since the start of the aggression on Gaza, considering this operation an unprecedented historical moment to target American ships at sea since World War II.
According to observers, the remarkable Yemeni move and the results of the Red Sea events restored Yemen’s status as a maritime state characterized by its position controlling one of the most important international trade corridors, and its location overlooking on two seas, it is a maritime country of geostrategic and geopolitical importance, especially when the international conflict escalates, which makes it necessary for America to reconsider its recklessness and waging war on Yemen.
What happened during the last hours of last Wednesday in Yemeni waters, in terms of the clash and teaching America a painful lesson, was the subject of interest and follow-up by many countries that have a military presence in the region, including European countries, military reports indicated that these countries will re-evaluate their positions and in the future will not take any specific action related to Yemen without taking what happened into account.
Unexpectedly, Arab circles seemed to say that the great shock to former and current American officials is that they never expected that Yemen, which they believed for decades ago to be subservient would stand up to them today with all this solidity, will, resolve, courage and faith, as is happening today.
