BEIRUT January 21. 2024 (Saba) - Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has confirmed that the blood of the martyrs of Gaza in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran, the last of which is the blood of Major General Sayyed Radhi al-Musawi, is united and integrated with the blood of the martyrs of Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
In a message addressed to the 12th International Forum (Gaza, Symbol of Resistance), held in Tehran on Saturday, Nasrallah considered that the support for Gaza from the arenas of Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Yemen was broader than the enemy’s expectations, so that the resistance factions succeeded in besieging the usurping entity with fire over a period of more than 100 days, which is unprecedented.
Sayyed Nasrallah said the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation dealt a severe blow to all attempts to erase the Palestinian issue.
Sayyed Nasrallah’s message, which was read by Hezbollah’s representative in Tehran Abdullah Safi al-Din, stated the title of the conference with the slogan “Gaza, the Symbol of Resistance,” and its timing at a crucial historical stage in which the Palestinian resistance is waging a major confrontation against the Zionist war of annihilation, demonstrate the sensitivity of its organizers, responsibility and their standing by the Palestinian people, their cause and their resistance.
He added “We all have grave responsibilities, which require constant alert to mobilize the nation’s capabilities in support of the Palestinian people, and in support of their valiant resistance, which rightly writes today, through its sacrifices, heroism, the blood of its men, and the steadfastness of its people, the future of the nation, preserving its dignity and consolidating its strength.”
Nasrallah stressed that what Israel has lost to date in Gaza, in terms of officers and soldiers, at the hands of the Palestinian resistance, exceeds many times what it lost in the war it launched in 1967.
He recalled that the Zionist "army", which in the 1967 war occupied, in six days, more than 69 thousand square kilometers, is being defeated today in part of the area of the Gaza Strip, and is unable to achieve a declared goal --- or come close to victory, and is retreating and retreating under the pretext of “Moving to a New Stage.”
Sayyed Nasrallah believed that it was natural and correct for the conference slogan to be “Gaza is a symbol of resistance.”
He stressed that Gaza today “is the symbol, because there is honorable, bold and proud resistance.”
Nasrallah also affirmed that the enemy and its masters have worked, since the occupation of Palestine, according to two paths: the first is to legislate the occupation internationally, polish its image and establish it as a model civilized entity that can be emulated as a role model for the region.
As for the second path, its conclusion was to weaken and stifle the resistance of the Palestinian people, and liquidate its cause, leading to its removal from the arena of global circulation, by relying on force and on the option of normalization, which ensured the removal of influential regimes from the arena of confrontation.
Regarding the first track, Sayyed Nasrallah saw that the enemy and its masters achieved outstanding successes in it, due to the capabilities they possess and the dominance they possess over major international institutions, and over the West’s systems and its effective and influential forces.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah touched on the option of normalization, pointing out that it was and still is the enemy’s project to subjugate the will of the nation, waste its central cause, and destroy the unity of its options, until the issue of Palestine almost turned from the issue of the nation into an exclusive Palestinian issue... a stranger among its people, and its brothers.
Sayyed Nasrallah said the option of normalization has placed the Palestinian issue, and the right of the Palestinian people to their land, in the circle of targeting and imminent danger, and on a downward path that warns of every danger, because of the conspiracy and betrayal of the Palestinian people that normalization with the enemy entails, and the abandonment of their right, their cause, their resistance, and their future. .
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah explained that the flood of Al-Aqsa resistance came, to shuffle all the cards, change all calculations, and turn the threat into an advanced existential opportunity, and a turning point in the paths that the enemies have worked on for a long time.
Sayyed Nasrallah also saw that the “flood of Al-Aqsa” had engraved deeply in the conscience of the Zionists as a defeat that could not be erased, and that “the legend was shattered, the prestige vanished, and the project shook,” and with it the model, and that the issue, which they had worked so long to stifle, had reappeared as an expanding and present global issue in all the geography of the world and its corridors.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah stressed that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation dealt a harsh blow to all attempts to write off the Palestine issue... stressing that the issue, against which many conspired, would not have survived without its resistance, its rifle, and its sacrifices.
He said the Zionist enemy, which today continues with massacres and crimes, is doing all of this to cover up its defeats, through images of massacres and destruction, the humiliated image of “Israel” on October 7, and to take revenge for destabilizing its project for which it and its masters have made every effort for more than 50 years.
Sayyed Nasrallah also saw that despite the West’s exhaustion - led by the United States of America and Britain - on our region, with projects of fragmentation and deception, with the help of brutal tools, sinful pens, hired voices and hired minds, Palestine alone remained a valve of unity, a path of convergence, a base for revival.
Sayyed Nasrallah said the unity of blood, rifles, arena and goal is what troubles our enemies, and it is what we must continue and work to increase, deepen and extend, reiterating that “whoever believes that this nation has an option other than resistance is wrong and very, very delusional.”
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah recalled that “Israel” did not occupy Palestine with diplomacy, but with force and weapons, and it also occupied Beirut in 1982, and that it does not threaten the nation today with diplomacy, but with weapons and force. On the other hand, it was not defeated from Lebanon through diplomacy, but rather through resistance, and it will not be defeated from Gaza and Palestine except through resistance.
He explained that the confrontation with the enemy is not a one-day or two-day confrontation, but rather an ongoing, continuous and cumulative confrontation, stressing that "we must remain present."
He pointed out that the gathering of the fleets of arrogant countries in support of “Israel” confirms its weakness and instability, and “is what must harden our will to adhere to the option of resistance. If the conditions for liberating Palestine are not available today, then we must prepare for tomorrow and the day after.”
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah stressed that betting on international institutions and the international community is a failed and disappointing bet, which has produced nothing but heartbreak, loss, disappointment and bitterness.
Sayyed Nasrallah said at the conclusion of his message "These international institutions are out of the question because they are dependent on the will of the American administration, and their latest farce was the decision, which condemned Yemen for targeting Zionist ships in defense of Gaza in exchange for the legislation of the American-British targeting of Ansar Allah, and ignoring two million Palestinian citizens among the martyrs. Wounded, detained, hungry, thirsty, and displaced in the open."
It is worth noting that the 12th International Forum, “Gaza, Symbol of Resistance,” continues its work with the participation of a group of families of resistance martyrs, an elite group of Iranian officials and military commanders, guests from various parties of the resistance axis, and activists supporting the Palestinian cause.
The conference is organized by the “Society for the Defense of the Palestinian People” on January 19 of each year, which is the day that marks the anniversary of the defeat of the occupying entity in the 22-day war on Gaza (in 2009), and is known as “Gaza Day” in the official calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
