Amsterdam - Saba:
Dutch Foreign Minister Casper Waldkamp called for a review of the EU-Israel Association Agreement, citing what he described as "suspicions of a violation of international humanitarian law in Gaza."
In a statement, Waldkamp explained that his country now requires a thorough review of every shipment of dual-use products exported to Israel, in light of growing concerns about Israeli military operations in Gaza and Syria, as well as settler violence in the West Bank.
In an official letter addressed to EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas, he questioned the extent of the occupation's commitment to ensuring the distribution of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip in accordance with basic standards of neutrality, impartiality, and independence.
