Yemeni naval forces announce targeting of ship that was heading to ports of occupied Palestine

SANA'A Jan 03. 2024 (Saba) - The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the targeting of the CMA CGM TAGE ship, which was heading to the ports of occupied Palestine.

The official spokesman for the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, explained in a statement that the targeting operation came after the ship’s crew refused to respond to calls from the Yemeni naval forces, including fiery warning messages.

He pointed out that the Yemeni armed forces continue to prevent Israeli ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine from navigating in the Red and Arab Seas until they bring in the food and medicine our brothers in the Gaza Strip need.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirmed the continuation of shipping traffic in the Red and Arab Seas to all destinations around the world except the ports of occupied Palestine.

It stressed that any American aggression will not go unanswered or punished, warning the American enemy or others against any attack or measure that represents protection for commercial ships that go to the Zionist entity.

We in the Yemeni Armed Forces also offer congratulations and condolences to the Mujahideen brothers in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, on the martyrdom of the leading Mujahid Saleh Al-Arouri and his fellow martyrs.

Sanaa, Jumada al-Akhirah 21, 1445 AH Corresponding to January 3, 2024 AD Issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces.
