Sana'a – Saba:
The Endowments and Zakat Authority, Yemeni Scholars Association, and Higher Academy of the Holy Quran on Monday organized a speech event in the capital Sana'a to commemorate the passing of the divine scholar Badr al-Din Amir al-Din al-Houthi.
The event highlighted the Yemeni leadership and people's supportive stance for Gaza and expressed solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Miftah emphasized learning from the deceased scholar's life of knowledge, jihad, and unwavering commitment to confronting falsehood and preserving the nation's unity.
He noted that Yemen's steadfastness against aggression has benefited the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine, asserting that the Iranian leadership will deliver harsh lessons to the axis of evil.
Miftah also praised Pakistan's stance against Zionist and American systems and declared Yemen's support for Iran's right to respond.
Sa'ada governor Mohammed Awad and Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nishtan hailed religious figure Badr al-Din al-Houthi as a model of a mujahid scholar who transformed Yemeni society.
Speakers stressed his role in reviving Islamic sciences, confronting misleading ideas, and raising sons in the spirit of knowledge and courage.
A statement from participating scholars and academics underscored the importance of following divine scholars in educating youth in faith and jihad, supporting Gaza, and directing hostility towards America, Israel, and oppressive regimes.
It called for fraternal solidarity with Iran, praising its historic response against the usurping entity, and urged continuous mobilization against Israeli and American threats.
